where do unicyclists live?

I was just wondering, are there any areas of the United States known for their
relatively dense population of unicyclers?

I ask this because I am presently seeking work (as a 6-month co-op with
Rochester Institute of Technology towards my degrees in computer engineering
technology and computer science), and thought I’d see if I might find a location
where I can more likley pick up some new unicycling skills. (If anyone happens
to also know any technology related companies looking for help in such an area
this spring, I’d be most interested to find out more details.)

thanks, jeff lutkus

If you’re looking to pick up skills, your best choice is probably the Twin
Cities area. The Twin City Unicycle Club has the highest percentage of
amazing-class artistic riders in the country, and practices nearly every night
of the week.

If MUni is what you want, the SF Bay area or Sacramento have nice trails,
enthusiastic riders, and of course all the high-tech you could ever want.

Good luck, John Foss, the Uni-Cyclone http://www.unicycling.com

Re: where do unicyclists live?

You are looking for Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. I believe there are
two separate clubs there; definitely more skilled unicyclists than you can
shake a stick at.

Here’s a useful link to one of the clubs: http://www.twincityunicycleclub.org/
