Where can I find 24 by 1 3/4" tires?

Did a quick search on the web and didn’t find anything. Should my local bike
shop carry them?

That’s a Schwinn size tire right? I believe Kenda makes them still, but your
local bike shop should be able to hunt one down for you. They might even have an
old schwinn tire stock. -Mary

If you ask him to sell you a tire, he’ll tell you to try looking in more stores,
and that the hassle of shipping you a tire isn’t worth
it. Or at least, that’s what he told me when I asked him to sell me that same
size tire a few years ago.

As it turned out, it wasn’t really that hard to find one locally. I had to try a
few places, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Just trying to throw some buisness his way. I’ve only bought parts from Tom
for a couple of months. So far he has had everything I needed and shipped
it promptly.

The last time I needed some I got them at my local bike shop. They had to
order them, but it wasn’t otherwise a big deal. I ordered a few just so I’d
have some on hand.
