Where do you plan on camping for Moab Munifest?

In previous year the main campground has been the Slick Rock camp ground, But this year they are recommending the Up the Creek camp ground.

So where are you all staying?

only issue we are running into is that the Up the creek camp ground is not letting anyone check in after 10 pm. This is pretty inconvenient for some of us that are going to driving all flippin day to get there in time for the event on Friday.

We are staying at Moab valley RV resort they which is the other place mentioned on the Munifest website. Moab Valley RV resort has rv spaces, cabins and tent sites

I’m planing on staying at up the creek it seems like the best if you are tenting it and is middle of town, close to restaurant and such

I was thinking the Sand Flats Rec area (Slickrock Campground) for scenery, economy and campfire reasons. It would require more camping resources, (ie. coolers and beer). It is definitely more rustic but I personally like that. Is everyone planning on being in town?

Anyone camping in SandFlats?

I’d like to join up with munifest folk and work prevents me from being there before 8:30 or 9 pm on Friday. Anyone mind if I crash their site? One vehicle and tent.
