I see a few Sarah Palin threads, thanks of course to Billy. But I wonder, where are all the Joe Biden threads? Are there none because he is not feared and hated by the demographic here?
He doesn’t amuse.
I wonder where the Spiro Agnew threads are…
All the press I see only mention Obama, McCain, and Palin. Who is this Joe Biden you speak of? Does he post here under the username of Billy The Mountain?
…or Andrew Johnson.
I know of only one.
Here’s one! The funny part is that even IN a Joe Bidin thread, nobody has anything to say about him.
I do.
b-o-r-i-n-g and stuffy; Like his dear friend john McCain
Not as cute as Sarah.
I don’t think he would be like as much a Sarah at all the special social parties all over the world.
The fact of the matter is the vice president shouldn’t be spoken about much before the election. It should be all about the president to be. But Sarah Palin is so outlandish, so unqualified, so idiotic, that more people are talking about her in a negitive sense. I’m sure most republicans are happy just for the attention. The McCain and Palin campaign is such a joke, and long shot to win, that that group is doing everything is their power to save themselves. Um… Sarah is going on SNL where she is basically mocked beyond “niceness”. Joe Biden is a legit vice president who has experience and knows what he is doing. I’m sure republicans will make fun of him for where he stands, just because that’s poltics. But the dems can make fun of Sarah just because I truely believe the majority of us are smarter than her in almost everything.
The american dream is that anyone, even just some average joe (or jess) can do anything they want, even be president. The american dream is NOT that when a person becomes president (or vice president) that they are still that average joe (or jess). That’s not who I want running my country.
But where are the Joe Biden threads?
They are here.
Along with a smattering of a certain someone’s admonitions to use the search function.
Am I on topic? I really don’t know. I suspect there is something coded in this thread, but I’m unable to interpret it. Or am I just a victim of some unfortunate tendency or one who perpetuates it?
…
its because the majority of the forum has very one-sided viewpoints, and can’t manage to see the other side most of the time.
… so in the forum’s mental capacity, only Palin can be understood, never both Palin and Biden…
He has a rather large forehead.
… thats random, but is means enough to not have him our VP
lol
Could we do worse? You betcha!
Christianity, meet the republican party. Oh you’ve met? And had a baby? Oh please accept my most sincere apologies. I bet you wish you didn’t have that baby…
If Joe Biden having a large forehead is reason enough to not elect him, does this mean not only can we not elect Sarah “Power Ignorance Abuse” Palin, but also tar and feather her? Oh I’m so excited.
Well yeah, but only if she’s a witch.
fify
Just watched the debate, where in one part they talked about their running mates. Barak really held back when it came to the rebuttal part! McCain criticized a number of Biden foreign policy decisions that he didn’t agree with. Obama did not have this luxury with Palin, who has never made a foreign policy decision.
It’s not all about foreign policy, of course, but shouldn’t a potential president of this country have at least a little?
Oh, and when Obama was talking about Biden, the CNN viewers were falling asleep. He’s definitely not as exciting to talk about as Palin. The CNN version of the debate has that “EKG” of reaction by a group of “uncommitted Ohio voters” as they watch. It gives a little more to look at besides just the talking heads.
Trivia note:
Hofstra University was the site of the dorms and food for Unicon II in 1986. The track was at neighboring Mitchel Athletic Complex, and the gym was at Nassau Community College (all within walking/riding distance).
What good is foreign policy experience when that experience is with a failed foreign policy and they want to essentially continue that policy?
Presumably it means they’ve at least met some people and gotten some background, and, like, not just looked across the Bering Sea at Russia with binoculars.
But yes, experience alone does not make for an expert, and also does not necessarily make for your favorite candidate. You might like someone with less experience (I’m still not going to say zero though) if you believe they will take the country in the direction you think is better than the other guy’s plan.
