wheel walk mount?

How do you mount and then start wheel walking with out using the pedals? I
presume its possible. I just can’t seem to get on without making use of at least
one pedal.

And the latest news is I had my second go on a giraffe today, wierd things to
ride. I managed to freemount it after a few minutes. Seems you just got to throw
caution to the wind and go for it. Just watch the ankles when you don’t make
it:-) And definately watch out for the wheel skidding out from under you, not a
nice feeling!

Way #1: Walk forward with the unicycle. Jump up and pull it under you at the
same time. Put your foot on top of the wheel to stop it, and have enough
momentum to keep going forward until you’re leaning forward and can start
walking (no, doesn’t usually work on the first try).

Way #2: Walk forward with the unicycle. Jump up, but this time put one foot on
the tire behind the frame. This stops the wheel rolling back while your momentum
carries you up & over. By the time you come level, pull that foot out of there
and start walking.

Don’t know which one is easier (neither, I guess).

Stay on top,

Well there is the kick up mount to wheel walk but that uses one pedal. Side jump
mount to wheel walk and jump mount to wheel walk are two that come to mind that
don’t use either pedal.
