i was just wondering what your favorite classic console was
any thing from the magnavox odyssey to the n64 (8-bit computers count alos (like the commodore 64))

yea n64 was one of the greatest systems( but to be honest i didnt like golden eye ( feel free to shoot me)) i was more of a turok man myself.
I liked Goldeneye, but the one game I was truly passionate about was Super Mario 64. That game is SO PRO!

SNES is a close second.
While I loved my NES, my true passion as a little kid was the SNES, as it was in its hay-day when I was really young. So many great RPGs came out of this time…FFIII/VI, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Star Ocean, Breath of Fire II…stuff I still get giddy playing today.

Is N64 old enough to be a classic?
I’d have to go with the Vectrex with my C64 running a close second. Of course then there’s the king of all consoles: The Atari 2600
I was thinking this at first, but I kinda decided that the idea of being ‘classic’ is relative, largely to your age. So for some, I’d say its a classic.

Just saw this post, that sounds like a lot of fun. I love reliving those old memories (plus that was a badace game).
I liked the 64, mainly games like THPS, THPS2, WWE games (cause they’re so stupid their fun), and all of the mario parties (i have a lot of memories of mario party, from 1 to 6 lol)
Oh yeah, i loved SNES. King Aurthers Castle was an awesome game, same with the super marios. And zelda, i used to sit for hours playing zelda lol.
There’s a lot of very young people claiming SNES and NES are their favorites, but they weren’t even born… Believe me, I know those games are incredibly fun, but they don’t evoke the memories that other people have about the classics. I’m by no means hating on SNES, NES, or any older consoles. But chances are if N64 was out and you were handed a SNES you would’ve thrown a fit.
Stay true to your generation. N64 for me.
If you’re referring to me, yeah, true, the NES was before my time…that’s why I changed my vote to SNES. I started gaming when the SNES was big.
I’m going to go with the C64. There were so many effin’ cool games you could play on that thing… my favorites were Lazy Jones and Spy vs Spy.
