What’s subscribe to this forum do? 9i know it subscribes you to the forum but what advantages are there in being subscribed?

i’ve allways understood that to mean that they send u email whenever someone replies to a thread that u’re ‘subscribed’ to
i think u get subscribed as soon as u’ve posted on a thread but i may be wrong

I’m not too sure either, but I think ‘Subscribe to this Forum’ and ‘Subscribe to this thread’ are different. I don’t know which ones send emails because I haven’t been subscribed long, but I tested them out and you can see the results in your User CP. I think the advantage of subscribing to threads is so you can keep track of threads which are more important to you than others. I’m not sure why you would want to subscribe to a forum, unless it is your favourite.
