We all pretty much quit…
Whats Project Uni?
Ask brian.
its this game that he made, that tons of people and like make trials courses and stuff. and we all used to play, and now we dont…
Brian should add a bike option, get this game out there big time, and thus make it worth it to add more content.
Then it would be prpject uni and bike. Keep it pure.
I haven’t been playing any games… the baby takes up all my time now! Maybe once he’s potty trained…
I’ve always wanted to play,
But I have a mac…
You can play it on the mac with crossover but I wouldn’t bother until we’ve released another update.
The reason no one plays anymore is because it got boring. We weren’t far enough along with it for it to be really fun for any long period of time. The novelty of the small amount of content we have so far wears off pretty quick. I think dave and I are the only ones to have actually fully completed both winter wonderland and after the storm though. I think most people assume they are impossible and give up. We thoroughly tested both levels as we made them.
We haven’t worked on it for a long time but don’t worry. We haven’t given up on it.
We aren’t going to add bikes. If anything we will allow the character to hop off the uni to climb up stuff or run around but we are keeping the focus on uni, even if it doesn’t get us famous.
I just need to put it back onto my computer and Ill get back to making courses.
tight, the last part sounds pretty cool.
in my opinion, it should be an mmorpg sorta, and built like Tony Hawks American Wasteland. I know that’d be the biggest beotch to make, but it’d be really cool.
eh, if you could format it for ps2, that’d be even cooler, since you’d be able to arrange online games with people, and roam cities with unis.
and NPC’s also, like cops, homeowners, annoying towns-folk, and the occasional business owner.
nevermind me though, you could probably care less for my input.
whatever you do brian, its gonna be cool. Good Luck.
I would play more if:
-More realistic speed
-More tricks
-More controllable hops/trials movements
-More courses that are fun to play on rather than a complete challenge just to get somewhere
Just a bit of my input.
I beat the winter wonderland the middle was extremly hard but after you made it past there it wasn’t bad. I don’t think i downloaded After the storm? or i don’t remeber it.
Ha, and with annoying comments when you pass them, like “where’s your other wheel?” and such.
how many MB is this game?
I think what’s been done is good, but the game needs more of a purpose for people to want to play it over and over again, perhaps something a bit more like tony hawke where you get points for tricks and that sort of stuff would be cool.
How do you get it for free?
Pigs
I think the best addition to the game would be a balance feature. Or an analog type control. Say you balance with ‘wasd’ and controll direction with the arrow keys. Space would be jump, and you would have to put in a certain order of keys to do a trick, making it actually hard to do.
I know some of these suggestions may not be possible because of the software but I’m gonna say them anyway, because I think they would be cool in a game:
-being able to customise your trials uni, like frame parts, tyres, rim etc… but only when you have the money and when the parts are in ‘stock’ in the shop (when you unlock them).
-be able to change your tyre pressure so its more or less bouncy.
-have side hopping, but while your leaning, have a gauge what you can change for the power you want to your hop
-Tony hawks project 8 style tricks where you can press a button to put it in slow mo and controll your tricks… so like a 90 unispin and then flip it the other way 270 unispin and stuff… If you get what I mean.
-awesome graphics and realistic unicycle bails
-when you do slow mo it zooms in when you land a trick, and depending on how big the trick the more or less the tyre flexes.
Like I said its not very likely any of us could do it… but imagine how awesome that would be? get some amazing trials pro like yoggi to write to activision and make it
I was about to say the exact same thing. I wish there was a unicycle game pretty much like American Wasteland, with all the features you just mentioned. I would get that game almost instantly if it came out!
