What was this wheeled contraption?

I caught a very brief glimpse of a wheeled contraption that looked just like a skateboard except it had 2 wheels instead of 4, and the wheels looked like the kind you’d find on some roller blades. The guy riding it was doing some cool slalom moves on the sidewalk, and it made no noise like you’d hear from a regular skateboard. I don’t think it was a handle-less scooter but I could be wrong.

Does such a thing exist, or did I just hallucinate when I saw it? Like I said I only caught a very quick glimpse of it so I may have gotten some details wrong.

Ripstick.

That had to be it, thanks.

waveboard?
i know they have multiple names so you might also be right

yeah, i see them all the time, its a skateboard essentially, but you have to carve it to make it go, it has roller blade style caster wheels.

Vigorboard is another name for it. You ride it more like a snakeboard than a skateboard. Downhill the thing scared me a bit…went far faster than I expected.

Surprisingly easy to get the basics, but I have friends who are one wheeling the damn thing…front and back.
