I can not decide between The Torker CX and the Torker LX, any suggestions? Are those good unicycles?
Thanks so much for the help,

Stick with the LX as it is an absolute learning machine in my opinion.
Depends on what you are going to use them for i guess as well. Eg Trials, Street, Learning, etc.
+1
The LX is stronger to so when you get better you dont have to upgrade as quick.
I will use it for learning, up and down hills, maybe a few beginner tricks (do you have any suggestion for beginner tricks) What unicycle do you suggest for mountain unicycling?
I have seen pictures of Mountain unicycling, and the seat looks really low if I am 5’3 which on should I get and how high should the seat be?
The cx has a painful seat, and is generally considered a big step down from the lx.
The best place to see mountain unis is UDC. If you find what you like, do a bit of google work, UDC has the best selection, but sometimes also the highest price.
Niagra has maybe the best lx price. They also ship cheap.

Unless you’re in the NBA, your seat will be too high and you need to cut the post. Most beginners seem to like a high seat. However, you have to lower it once you start hopping and want to ride SIF (seat in front).
If you want to feel like a badass for breaking your first unicycle get a CX.
If you’re going to want to do muni go straight for the DX.
Not a ton of experience here, but I wanted to put another vote in for the LX.
After becoming inspired by one of Terry’s videos last Christmas, I gave myself a 24" LX, and have never regretted the decision. Not the lightest to be sure, but decent quality, and the price is right until you see where your passion roams.
Once I was ready for some hopping and light MUni, I upgraded the pedals and purchased a Kenda K-RAD 2.3, and it has been perfect! I must admit to lusting after a KH-26 (and KH-20!), but I suspect this is a common problem.
Not the cheapest retailer, but this 2010 LX does look pretty sweet:

They ship same day and have excellent Customer Service (had to return a mis-aligned 16" CX for my son, and it was painless).
Anyway, good luck. Unicycling truly is a blast.
What do you guys think about this one? http://www.jugglingstore.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=758
Also how many inches would I have to cut of and how would I do it?
…
Um… I am speechlessly laughing
The saws all is best
Few people have this tool, but they should. It will cut a seat post in a few seconds. Perhaps the least frustrating tool I have, it makes cutting a pipe or rusty muffler as easy as reaching out and pulling the trigger.
A saber saw with a metal blade works well. A normal hack saw will do in a pinch, it’s just not as fun.
As a rule, you should cut off enough to reach the pedals, then work south from there until you are happy.
A simple pipe cutter works well too.
And LX >>>>>> CX, like by farrr. My first uni was a CX, and it wasn’t until I upgraded to a DX that I realized how awfully designed the CX seat is. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the LX though.
You all just need to man up, the cx seat is bad but I don’t see why you all complain about it so much.
Mostly because it suxxorz.
I have very bad experiences with a seat that was very similar to the CX’s.
Nice lolcat, Maitslo.
