MrBoogieJuice maybe lives across the pond, I’m not sure where, but they’re still going strong at 3 am.
I’m in NYC, USA, where the bars serve “last call” until 4 am. Then people sit around and finish their drinks for a while after that.
What time must the last drinks be sold in your bars, and where are you?
This has a big influence on socializing and such. Like many people in NYC don’t even head out to the bars until 11 pm. In California, the bars serve until 1 am, so people go out much earlier.
It’s 2AM in California too. When I used to work graveyard shift in Sacramento, I’d go out riding my bike at 3AM on my nights off, giving the drunks an hour to clear the roads.
2 a.m. in Richmond, VA. However, strictly “bars” are actually outlawed here - any place serving drinks has to get at least 40% of their income from food.
Shortly after they stop selling salty food.
There are no regulations on salty food consumption in PA, so I think people should always be able to buy something to wash it down.
Never. With 24 hour drinking there is no closing time in GB. This has been the case in Oxford college bars since the Henry the 8th charter, which until recently were the only places you could drink all night/morning. The charter also meant that college bars didn’t need a licence, and could serve to people of any age. Unfortunately 24 hour drining has over ruled all this, but we can still drink all night.
New Hampshire is 1am. The 1st time I was out that late I thought they were joking. In Quebec, we sometimes don’t get to the bar until 1am 3am closing in Quebec, though I know once we got the DJ to keep going until 3:30
