what size movie in the gallery?

I made a muni/trials video, that originally started out at 60 MB. Supposedly you can only load 120megs at a time into the gallery, so half that should work right?

I’ve tried over and over, finally reduced it down to 18 megs, and I still can’t get it into the gallery. I get a “this page cannot be displayed” message. When I use the windows XP option publishing option, it tells me that either the website is down, or I might have lost my internet connection.

I can get very small items in the gallery easily, even movies of the same type, as long as they are very small.

What is the biggest file size that will actually go into the gallery? Does anyone else have this same problem? I’ve seen larger movies in the gallery, so I know this hasn’t always been the case.

I’m getting very frustrated.

Try useing the Java applet instead

What version of Java do you have installed?
If it’s an older version, maybe the new version will work better. You can verify your Java installation here. If you have an old version it will direct you to the download area for the new version.

Java makes me want to

If I can’t upload it any other way would that work better?

I just want to know what I’m doing wrong… I’ll try that though.

how reliable is your satellite internet connection?

Pretty good… bad weather will mess it up sometimes…

But I can put smaller stuff in the gallery, but when I try this video, it won’t work.

Okay, I finally got a ‘test’ video in, at only 3 megs… crappy quility, of course. What can I do about this? Suggestions?

I currently have videos that are lager, the largest being 18 MB. But that was made from our old still camera…
