What job(if any) do you have and why

I am a United States Marine.

It’s a cool job once you got enough rank and as far as job security, well it just cant be beat.

i do small time web design for my self, friends, and family i do it because its fun to make a really kool web page.

Lucky duck.

i cannot handle production, it is good fun but i can never get anything just right. i spent all night (6 hours) on one competition promo last week.

And then the AE walks in an goes “Oh no, the bedmusic is too loud…”

Job: Director of a Wilderness Camp

Why: It’s complicated, but mostly because I would hate to see the camp which I care so much about fall apart after 50 years of operation by not having a strong and/or competent director and the fact that I could not find a good forestry job in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick (plan A for the summer)

Taking this job was more about the good of the camp than personal gain, I was making more money working at a gas station. Unfortunately this means that I probably can’t afford to go back to school next year, but it will look good on a resume though.

arg and it is always after you have exported it. My manager is obsessed with character voices, it is driving me insane.

hey Eric i met a fella from Saskatchthingimy on monday  he was well cheerful.

indeed.
LOL

informative thread…
And here I thought we were all Dentists, just here to exchange pot-roast recipes.

I’m Batman. But only during the night.

During the day I manage 2 Island Ink-Jet locations. We refill inkjet cartridges for computer printers. As well as recycle old ones, sell new ones and sell toner cartridges for laser printers as well.
Why: Well, it’s something that started as a ‘I need a full time job’ sorta thing when I was working 2 part time jobs and has since lead me to the point of running the business while my boss lives 2 provinces away. I’m currently entertaining the idea of buying the biz.

I am also an agent with Primerica Financial Services. We teach people about how money works and help families with life insurance, debt consolidations and investing towards retirement.

IT Director. Basically a fancy name for being responsible for all technology related things at a not-for-profit.
Why? I’m relatively good at it, I like the people I work with, and by working for a not-for-profit, instead of a commercial entity, I hope to add a little to making the world a better place.
On my off-time I’m a volunteer firefighter.

I work in a gas station. Because I’m sweet.
