My brother and I have a mowing and tree removal business. I get to climb trees with chainsaws and play with big trucks and mowers. I make my own hours and chicks dig it.
Cool! I’m in a Metallica cover band, too!
I haven’t been paid yet, though.

That’s an oddly specific field.

Part time unicyclist,
Full time Babe magnet
haha, i had to.
What: Math tutor.
Why: It’s the funnest job I’ve had, I only have to actually work 1/2 the time, it reinforces what I need to know for my classes towards a Mechanical Engineering degree, and it’s just a 5 min. walk to/from my classes.
On the downside, since I’m hired through my Junior College, the pay sucks.
It’s been a hard time for me get motivated to do the necessary work w/ it being so long to get a decent paycheck. Now I’m getting a Machinist Certificate and hope to get a job as a Engineering Technician, which should start at $25-30K/yr. I’ll do that for a while, while taking a class or two a semester, en-route to my BS.
Since I’m enjoying tutoring so much, I’m considering teaching, but I need that BS first.
Where: I work at a bike shop near my house.
Why: I can b*ke or uni to work and I get discounts.
Pigs

I worked in software engineering for 20 years when my contract position got out-sourced to India, literally. Then my wife went to work full time, and I started stay-at-home-dad-ing.
Now I’m a dog butler, or professional poop scooper. In fact, I’m the “Delmar Dog Butler”, which gets a hell of a lot of google hits due to a UPI-wire story that ran about me a few years back. Dog butler job is just perfect - part-time, pays $50 - $70 per hour, and I work only 10 or 12 or so hours/week (currently 40 clients), during the kids’ school hours, I’m always outside, only people I have to deal with are dogs.
I also free-lance creating test questions that mirror 8th and 9th grade state math tests.
Well at the moment I am a full time student at rowan university majoring in a degree in music education. In my free time I get paid by the government to fight things that danger the security of the United States(terrorists/aliens/meteors) as a superhero, I am better known as the UniBomber (not to be confused with the unabomber) I where red tights, and drive around in a monocycle. When i am not saving the world I work part time during the summer giving music lessons + odd jobs. When I am down at school I work in the music office. I basically do everything the secretaries don’t want to do, and I make 7.50 an hour… I am rolling in huge piles of cash (i wish
)
but once I am out of school I plan on teaching music somewhere either up north of nj (the adirondacks/new england) or out in the north west. I am quickly finding out that nj is way to expensive to live in unless you have a lot of money to pay for our ridiculously high taxes
studenting, my favorite job
I want to tutor high school kids for this one company because I would get the big $s and only have to work about 5 hours a week during the school year to live and still save up $. The employment lady at the company basically told me I could have the job because they need spanish tutors (I’m not fluent or anything, but I have a good grasp of the language)
I’m probably half-way between the two of you.
I’m fortunate that my ‘second’ job is in production at the station where I do 09h00-12h00 on-air.
