What it's really like in Afganistan

Here’s a article I got in a newspaper about a month ago:

A suicide bomber blew herself up yesterday as Iraqis celebrated their 2-1 victory over China in a match for the World Cup. The blast killed one and wounded 29 others. Thirty-nine others were wounded by celebratory gunfire after the soccer match.
   Are you kidding me???LOLOLOLOLOLOL
Tough way to party.

I don’t see how that is funny.

Maybe Hawaiians are more laid back than the rest of us, but there are often riots after large scale sporting events even in the U.S. Aside from the suicide bomber, this doesn’t strike me as much different.

It’s funny; but it’s more of a disgusted laugh with a sad shake of my head.:frowning:

…I guess so. I lived here 18 years and I haven’t heard of one person wounded from celebratory gunfire

hm
i would say that only happens in texas… but then i realized… people here know how to handle guns and don’t act stupid with them.

Stupidity happens everywhere, including Texas.
