Imagine… One day you try to log on to unicyclist.com and it’s not there. The page just doesn’t open. You say okay, maybe the server is down. You try a few hours later, the same result. Next day - no luck. You come back a week later and unicyclist.com still doesn’t work.
What he said. I’d probably start using the newsgroup.
But I’d definitely not use it NEARLY as much…probably would get more done in Blender/learning to program, maybe read/game more, and most likely unicycle more.
Currently, I don’t read or post here much. So it wouldn’t affect what I actually do on a day-to-day basis. However, I would very much be upset at the loss of our community. The good people here would not have a place to gather. I would miss everybody. And THAT would be quite a loss to me.
This is a good thread because it forces us to think about what we have – and to appreciate our good fortune.
Out of those 4 things, I only really use Just Conversation…the gallery never works for me, the webspace I never messed with (same for most people), and the e-mail service is always flooded with posts from threads that I’m apparently subscribed to against my will.
It’d probably help me manage my time better if just conversation were gone.
