I leave it in my office (I am a teacher). When I was in college, I took it
to my classes. I did the same in high shcool (or left it in an office).

When I was in college I rode my uni to class quite a bit. I considered it a
“privilege” to ride on campus since inline skates and skate boards are
banned in many places, I didn’t want to give them a reason to ban the uni.
As I rode up to a building I would dismount outside the doors and ALWAYS
carry my uni. I discovered many years ago that being told “you can’t bring
that bike in here” correlated directly with the amount of contact the wheel
had with the floor. This has been the case with businesses, malls,
schools…

In college I would take my uni to class and stow it in the back or in an out
of the way place. Never had people throw stuff, but I did try to be friendly
to the antagonists and give them a chance to make a go at it. That often
shut them up.

In elementry i left it in the cloakroom, but in hight school either ask your homeroom teacher, or a sectrary about putting it in a courtyard or something.
