I’m not sure if this is to serious of a question, but what have you sacraficed for your own unicycle career?

For me, I have given up the beauty of my shins.

I have given up some freetime by being addicted to MR.

I have given up not having a serious hobby, as well as getting little to no exercise.

I sacrificed volleyball. I would’ve sacrificed my brother but… you know, laws and stuff (he thinks unicycling is stupid :astonished: ).

And about 20lbs from my gut… Time with my ex… but I don’t believe it was a signifigant factor in the breakup :wink:

I’ve sacrificed hours that were not spent unicycling :wink:

I sacrificed my ability to be invisible to the rest of the world. Something I have worked hard on all my life.

A college degree. I hope it was worth it…

… Oh yeah. I gained a few things as well. A healthy, lifetime activity that’s left me a “younger” 44 than I probably would have been without it. Travels around the world and great friends in most states, and over a dozen countries. Thousands of opportunities to get in frount of audiences and offer them some fun entertainment. Stuff like that.

sacrifice implies a downside, for me i havent really given up anything with a downside, its all worth it.

I havent sacrificed anything through unicycling, I have only gained so much more.

i’ve lost almost all chances of getting a gf.

however some chicks might like it, but a general consensus (sp?) from people i know says it isnt good.

thats why i got a gf first. well not really, but yea, generally most girls hate unicycling. and most guys as well. well around here most people do anyway.

And i wouldnt give up anything for unicycling…even if my life depended on it!!..nice to know you got me first… It sounds lyk im some kind of possesion you own!!!

Would you really want a relationship with someone so shallow that they’d pass you over just because you had a slightly unusual hobby? I think it shows that you’re more open minded and adventurous, which is very attractive to some people.

Uh…as mentioned earlier, the beauty of my shins, disbalnce, normality(YAY, wait, I never had that) uh…time, a little boredness…
