What good music has come out lately?

I only know of what I read on the internet, and what is available at the PX (post exchange). I would like to know what music has come out lately that the unicyclists on this site are listening to. I am into a lot of music, so don’t think that I wouldn’t be into it.

the Beastie Boys is out…

No the beastie boys are in.

The new Bad Religion album “The Empire Strikes First” is pretty awesome if you ask me.

Prince: Musicology
Jerry Garcia and David Grisman: Been All Around This World

Zachary Jucha - Nameless

:astonished:

…Didn’t know I make my own music eh!?

Well, it’s not technically out yet, and even when it is “out”, it’s not like it’s going to be literally “out” anywhere. Oh well… I’ll send Trip a copy soon. I guess that means my debut album will be out at the Glazer household.

Didn’t know about Bad Religion, that’s cool. Had no idea Beasie Boys were working on an album, either. Thanks.

Have the Beastie Boys just got the one instrumental album?

Andrew

Puddle of Mud are my band of the month  the album hasnt really come out recently but there awesome anyway.

I just got the latest Norah Jones album, very good. Not exactly unicycling music, but I recommend it to fans of mellow music.

Yeah, Norah Jones is great. You should check out some Charlie Hunter Trio stuff. I first heard of Norah on one of Charlie Hunter Trio’s albums.

They Might Be Giants are coming out with The Spine soon. And David Hasslehoff is coming out with a hip hop album.

Muzak

Blink -182’s self-titled album is damn good… (And yes, I listened to them before “Enema of the State”).
While not “new”, the Planet Smashers album “Mighty” is sweet, sweet ska if yer into that.

I used to go to mp3.com for the indie bands, but it’s not the same anymore :frowning:

The new Natalie Merchant album, “The House Carpenter’s Daughter” came out last year and is quite good. It’s a collection of folksy/bluegrass traditional songs. I think she’s sort of jumping on the music bandwagon started by the “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou” soundtrack, but, if you can forgive her, it’s excellent listening. Samples available here.
