I regularly drive 75 miles each way to get raw (unpasteurized) milk. I live in New Jersey, but I have to drive to Pennsylvania to get it. While I’m at that store, I also get the grass-fed beef. (this is the long answer to “where’d’ya get it?”)

So I forgot who posted the suggested about frying thinly-sliced Spam, but I gave it a whirl this morning. I used a wire cheese slicer to slice the Spam then fried it in a little butter until brown on both sides. The result? Crispy, crunchy, salty meat goodness. I could’ve sworn it was lean bacon. Yum!

Oh, and it was served with a side of Belgian waffle with homemade strawberry-maple syrup.

That came from this post. We just had fried (generic) Spamburgers last night. This time, thickly sliced fried Spam-type meat product with cheese on buns.

Cheese. Fried. Meunster. Delish.

I was eating leftover elk stew, that I (belive it or not) killed myself, with my own gun. Shot it right through the lungs, in fact. Inhumanly or not…

I even thought about that fact as I was eating it, and it only made it taste better.
