I have seen this Abbreviation a lot and am clueless as to what it means.

UPD = UnPlanned Dismount.

thats where you are just riding along, do de do de do de and BAM you fall off for no real reason.

Or it could mean "I fell off but don’t want to say I fell off so have called it something else.
