I do!! At my school, kids can make their own longboards in the Woodshop. It costs them half the price of buying one, and they can completely customize it. They’re great for getting around, but not much else. People are now making downhill longboards, which are thicker, and they claim they get up to 80km/h (I’m somewhat skeptical).
Anyway, longboards are nice, but unicycles are better!!
It’s only because at a quick glance down the list of threads, there’s no way to know that yours is about longboarding, so people who might actually want to talk about longboards will ignore your post. It’s not a big deal, but it makes your thread have more traffic.
why dont people stop bitching about the people not following the forum etiqette.
seriously.
it doesnt matter. It serious to god does not matter.
because the previous threads are already dead, and another one brings it back to mind, and then serves its short life, then dies, then another comes up.
and the whole title thing, so what? it kinds offers up that “lets go in, because i dont know what its saying”, thus your obligated to post. even if not, who cares? theres enough people on this forum that will go into the thread even if the title is irrelevant, it wont attract the most people who are interested in what the subject is, but hell, do you want people to start posting all JC things in RSC? because then it would get a lot more traffic.
Forum etiquette exists for a reason. It really is not too much to ask for people to not make redundant topics and to use relevant titles.
Those interested in long boarding should look at the previous thread here where it’s already been discussed at length. It is always better to revive old threads than to create new ones, that way all relevant discussion stays in the same place and doesn’t clutter up the board.
I actually was going to add to one of my previous posts that at least he didn’t post it in RSU, but even in JC people need to be mindful of etiquette.
Forum etiquette is good but really this is JC. If this were in RSU I would agree that crappy titles suck but really he is just starting a conversation about what he ended up doing instead of buying a unicycle.
Long boards are fun. I have only used one once to get around montreal when I was there with some friends. I could see myself getting one if i planned on living in a city for a while.
I have not read anything but the first post of thsi thread.
Good choice, I have a loaded longboard and I love it. Best purchase ever, you’ll have tons of fun riding them. I have a fish. I really like it. My friend has the one you posted a picture of and he loves it.
