I was in Michigan this past week and saw a two-person recumbent bicycle with the person in back facing backwards. Whaaa?
a push-me-pull-you!
Doesn’t sound like much fun in the back seat. Maybe it’s built for pure speed?
um, a station wagon?
What a strange idea. Google found a picture of the tandem. It is made by Mic Wic Limted (in the UK). Their web site seems to be gone so they may be out of business now. Anyways, these folks are in the middle of a 5000 km ride across Canada on one of those things.
whoa that looks a lot better than the tandem tom and i made
yea but come on we built that reverse tandem in like 3 hours…but then again it was pretty much impossible to steer and not even Lance Armstorng could ride it up a hill
wat were we thinking when we did this…
Similar to this one from the Byron, IL Byronfest Parade. (Pics in my galleries)
haha that clown bike looks about as sh*tty as the one we made, ahahaha
Where are their helmets!?!
My dad built one of those. He called it the cruisin’ confusion
haha cruisin’ confusion, thats awesome
Following some links from http://www.bentrideronline.com/ I found this article. These are the same riders JC linked to.
Probably not the ones you saw in Michigan though.
haha that is so cool
i saw the people riding across canada in the newspaper
