wedding cake

The cake I had for my wedding was the best cake I’d ever had in my
entire life. I am not kidding here. It was the best, most perfect white
moist, dense cake I have ever tasted. And I like cake. It was NOT just
the fact that it was my wedding cake… it was GOOD.

My husband bakes, and I’ve tried to get him to make a good cake and he
has made good cakes but nothing… NOTHING has been as good as that
cake. Nothing I’ve bought since has been as good…

I called up the lady who made my cake and asked if she could spare the
recipe… despite the fact that she lives in another state and only
cooks for people in her small town, she would not share the recipe! I’m
so mad about that… how selfish can you get… grr!

She did say something about how its the technique she uses to moisten
the cake… I admit I have no baking tendencies so don’t know what the
could possibly be but… I’m on a hunt…

Do any of you people possibly know where to point me to find a cake
recipe that could be half as decent as a purely heavenly wedding cake??
