So I had an idea about making a website, maybe like google earth where extreme sport riders(bmx, skateboarding, roller blading, and of course unicycling) could put like a star over places they like to ride. Then whenever somebody clicked on that star you could read a description of that place and reviews from people that have ridden the place. It would be kind of like our map of riders on the forums. Could anybody make a website like this?
Sounds like a cool idea, but will probably be hard to make, but I have no idea about web design so wouldn’t know.
I might be able to make a web directory. Like “minnesota>St. Cloud Area>Coldspring Skatepark”
but doing a big map thing would be different. It would be way cool for something like that.
I heard that’s where unibikeling rides.
So did I! Strange eh?
Wow! thats coincidental to the place that i mentioned!
Seriously, i could do a web directory, and get a domain also, but Someone would need to be paying my domain name bills. (about 4 a month i think).
such a precise coincidence! I am some what surprised.
I imagine the site be similar to this
http://www.trailcentral.com/
Yes, exactly. Maybe something a little simpler than that but you have the right idea. Me and my friend both have our licenses now, and now we realize we don’t know where to go ride. So we just spend countless hours drivin around looking for spots which waste gas. So I feel the world of extreme sports needs a website like this.
Is unicycling really “extreme”?
Using google earth would be cool, you could just have people upload the saved google earth files of their riding spot.
That part would be really easy.
I’d say it is much simpler, the least number of wheels, most number of falls.
