i just did something stupid 
i just got my new torker dx unicycle and it has a really grippy creepy crawler tire. it’s been raining all day here but it finally cleared up so i leapt at the opportunity to do some riding with my new unicycle. i stuck on my helmet and headed out the door to unicycle to the car where my kneepads and elbow pads are. our deck is made of wood and was really slippery but i thought with my new tire it wouldn’t be a problem. 
silly me. i took the corner a little too sharply and the unicycle slid out from under me and off the deck. i landed really hard on my right side. now i have a ginormous bruise on my right hip and my shoulder’s incredibly sore. i thought i had thrown out my shoulder but i think it’s just a bruise. anyway, take this story as a lesson to you all!!!

Of course, the first thing you thought of after this fall was “Is my unicycle okay?”

Those unexpected slide-outs can result in some clumsy falls.
I went Coker riding during a snow storm and had the Coker slip out when I tried to negotiate a turn on a wooden boardwalk. Whooops! No harm to me or the Coker other than a small rip in my cycling tights from one of the pedal pins. Now whenever I put those tights on, and notice the small hole, I am reminded of that Coker UPD.
Yeah, they can…I was in a gravel parking lot at a hotel purposely trying to skid (all the experienced muni riders are rolling their eyes and thinking ‘the idiot’ here), and I misjudged a turn, and promptly fell.
Gave my hands that stingy, numb feeling, hurt my shoulder, and slammed my knee into the gravel…it was nasty, and it hurt…it looked like I had gottne shot in the knee with a very weak shotgun
of course that’s what i thought 
it was perfectly fine except a little wet.
hah i did the same thing with my torker dx a couple days after i got it and i didnt even noticed i had huge cut on my leg because i was so worried about my unicycle:D
my tire is so well worn that it can slip out even when its not wet if the ground is slightly dusty. worst case scenario is when im coasting/gliding in a circle and it happens >_<
