wanted: new maintainer for rsu maintainace FAQ

unfortunatly i don’t realy have the time to maintain the faq anymore.
if somebody wants to become maintainer then i’d be more than happy to have them take it off my hands, otherwise it’ll fester on my website and become outdated like many a noble FAQ before it.
any takers?

preferably somebody who’s completly adicted to the internet, and rsu in particular. perhaps somebody with better web design skills than mine.

i enjoyed putting it together initaily and i suspect its been of help to a few people. so i’d like to see it continued and improved.

i will be updating the FAQ’s (and their format) on my LUC site in the next while. It’ll will have LUC specific q’s, ans also a mechanical section. Similar to the examples I’ve posted before.

You may certainly link it to that, but the FAQ’s on this site don’t really get enough mention to make them seem ‘worthwhile to keep updating’

It seems like when someone posts a question, it takes just as many words (and time to type) to redirect them, than to just answe the question (and get several, current, viewpoints)

Thanks for taking the time to do it though, I’m sure it has helped several people

I can certainly do that.

Cheers,

Stu

stu, i like your websites, who would have thought that they made minis in so many diferent reds?

i’d be more that happy if you’d take over the faq, just copy it from my website and start improving, send me a link when youve got a copy and i’ll update my website. to point to the new site.
its possible that the username “faq” and hence the website faq.unicyclist.com is still available.

thanks

ewan.

I will do that… I’m a little computerly challenged at the moment,
hard drive crashed 2 days ago, so I’m installing at the moment, and
will get my life off my backup, then I’ll start.

(Back to reading on an 80 column text terminal right now! Hooray!)

Cheers,

Stu

I have made a start… the first 2 sections are formatted and linked. Have a look and let me know what you think of the style, etc.

This is NOT its final address… that will be determined later.
All comments gratefully received.

Sorry for the delay… I did quite a bit of work, then tried to email you (evilewan) and put it to the back of my mind. The email didn’t bounce or get through (obviously), and I only just remembered I was doing it (oops).

Cheers,

Stu

I like the format – it’s clean and easy to read.
