Want a Website?

Would anybody out there like me to build them a simple website for free?

To pass my level two programming course at school one assignement is to build a website for an actual client.
If you want a simple, small, personal website about you and unicycling email me at: povanb@hotmail.com or just post something on this forum.

I’d love to get in contact with someone, also if you have any questions about what is involved with this I would love to help.

note: You would have to provide all content.

Oooooo, yes please! I think it’d be great to have a site to put tutorials and obstacle building instructions on. Thanks!

Andrew

Thanks for that will keep in touch

Thanks a lot, hopefully I’ll be able to put some useful stuff up there.

Andrew

can you make me and bryan M one too? (on the same page)

Sorry guys im only doing this for a school assignment so one is enough! I might be able to make you one sometime in the future possibly. If you want to look at making your own go to www.freewebs.com they’re a really good free webhost which has there own templates so all you need to do is add the text.
soory but it appears you have to be quick in these forums!

My view of what this site should contain…

Well since I’m the lucky one getting a website made up I thought it would be good to make it something helpful to the unicycling community. So, with Pete’s approval, I’d like to make this site home to a list of tips and tutorials covering mainly trials and muni but also some basic freestyle and the instruction manual that Klaas and I wrote. It will start off as just…

  • My list of trials obstacle building instructions
  • The rail riding tutorial video I’m currently making
  • ‘Learning to Unicycle’ by Klaas and myself
  • Some muni and trials written tips
  • Some written tips on basic freestyle skills.

I think that with everyone’s support and help this has a lot of potential. We could form a really helpful list of tips that people can refer to when struggling with a skill. I also think it would be great if people could request tips and pointers if they’re not already covered.

I know lists of tips like this have been attempted in threads but this will be a very handy and simple way of sorting them. Plus those few threads already contain some great tips.

I think this website has a lot of potential, and it’s all thanks to Pete.

Thanks Pete!

Andrew

That sounds perfect! Can’t wait to make your website for you!
