Hey, fess up. Who’s doing that?

And should we apologize to Bicycling for their survey? I guess not. It’s easy
enough to attach a cookie to the votes that allows you to vote only once…

I would love to take the credit but at the end of the day I am a

Yes. Why should we apologize for being such an enthusiastic
people. It is just our way of life.

That’s terrible. I just met Jim Langley a few months ago at a Sacramento
Wheelmen meeting. I was hoping to invite som of those CA office guys to the 1999
CA MUni Weekend. So Bicycling is getting down to being little more than too much
aggresive junk mail…

Re: vote unicycle : outrageous

Isn’t it satisfying to realize how popular unicycling has become, even more so
than all other forms of cycling put together. Maybe we should get in touch with
Bicycling magazine and suggest that they should devote 50% of their magazine to
unicycles since they are so popular.

Cheers

Roger

RE: vote unicycle : outrageous

>And should we apologize to Bicycling for their survey?

Nah…they could care less…read this posting that I’ve seen on other
newsgroups:

Rodale’s Bicycling magazine has laid off most of its editorial staff and closed
its Soquel, California, editorial office. All the familiar names, Geoff Drake,
Fred Matheny, Jim Langely, were summarily dumped, given 48 hours to clear out
their desks and turn in their keys. The Mountain Bike crowd is now in control of
Bicycling.

That’s too bad because those are the only three people on the mag that I liked,
and I just renewed my subscription a couple months ago.

BTW: I didn’t rig the vote either!
