Greetings.
Several months ago we got a call from a unciyclist in South Carolina. = Ike
Eisenstadt was looking for sponsors for his trip across the USA. = Ike, who’s
6’4" and weighs in the 230 range (much like the giant = unicyclist from Tulsa,
Mark Stephens), commands attention. To put his = size in perspective, he has a
Schwinn unicycle with a 400-mm seat post = set at the highest point. At just
5’10", I can sit on his unicycle but = I can’t reach the pedals.
Ike and his cousin, Burt, are now touring the USA in a Volkswagen camper = van.
Both are well-educated and left good careers on hold while they = pursue their
traveling dream. It has become a fun venture, and they = hope to have a network
of virtual travelers across the nation.
Ike and Burt stopped by last week for a short visit and wrote about it = on
their Web site. Visit them at www.VirtualTravelers.com, and look at = the
Virtual Reports for June 8 (for 6/6). If you’re anywhere near their = travel
routes, send them a note and ride with Ike. But lookout–Ike’s = new Coker makes
him look even larger.
=20
