I didn’t like the way you sped up shots between tricks, I prefer a crossfade, but that’s just my preference

I’m glad that you started to only show tricks once. I liked the 450 and the grinds. Not a fan of the music but thats opinion. You should start doing some more lines and not as many single tricks.
How high can you rolling hop? I like the hand rail grind because I grinded my first hand rail yesterday but It was low off the ground. (I can only rolling hop 60cm)

Just go for it.
The highest I’ve ever rolling hopped is 5 pallets. That was once too.
rolling hop height doesn’t matter too much for handrails. If you can jump a few feet out you can get on the rail. Because it slants down, you can jump out onto the rail where it will be pretty low from were you first started jumping. The further you jump out the less you have to jump up (or vise versa, if you know what I mean).
Nice video Colby, I watched it a couple times. It has a nice mix of street, trials, flat, and even freestyle. It wasn’t repetitive, and it had decent editing. I liked it.

I’ll be honest,i found it very boring to watch 
but i just cant watch tricks on flat anymore unless its spencer or someone.Film more stuff down sets etc

I almost got 77cm a few nights ago and my highest is 64cm 
Except now I don’t have the pallets I was using. Across the road there were some pallets owned by someone else. In the night I sort of just carried them 10 meters away closer to my home with a friend. But just yesterday I had to put them back because they were being picked up today. Oh well I think I’ll just move some pallets from my backyard to across the road
Very true. I think I will just have a bash today or tomorrow, the only thing is I only got a very short hand rail in my town that is suitable for grinding. When I go to the city next I will try, Thanks.
Was exactly the same as your old vids but shorter. There was a vid of yours I liked. I think it was the Feburary one. But your vids have seem to gone down hill from there.

So the thing is, your riding is great!!
But everything else is wrong
music - its subjective, but crucial. this song sounds frustrated. the emotions i usually aim for are excited or melancholy. frustrated could be okay if you want to show a lot of failures. or maybe comical.
camera - too far, too static
edit - just cuts. each scene was about the right amount. but you didnt add titles, credits and transitions. and an overall no story line.
locations - try for locations with variety and interest.
From a content point of view I like to think about people, places and things.
People - you should show personalities. why do we care about you or the other people in the video.
place - ride places we want to ride. famous locations, cool trials etc
things - do things people havent seen before
filming
capture everything - dont stop
move the camera
From editting point of view
music - pick music that matches the video, and edit the video til it matches the music
spectacular - show spectacular failure and success over mediocre
tight - edit it down to just the key moments
personality - capture the personality of the rider
So of the things that I think make a good video: people, places and things, you were weak on the people and places, but pretty strong on the things.
So what I suggest is you find someone to ride with/film, and find unique locations.
But dont worry about it… just ride, make vids, enjoy…
Okay, I’m having trouble figuring out if it was good or bad, liked or hated.
I hear the editing, filming, was good.
Then I hear it’s bad.
I’m really confused.
Why did the people that liked it like it?
Also, I’ll try to get my shots closer to the camera, and try to get a filmer for some lines.
But I’m not entirely sure how to put my personality in there.
I’ll also film in different locations too.
