Videos in Firefox

I’m having some issues on one of my sites with embedded .wmv videos showing
up just fine in IE but for some people they don’t show up in Firefox (it’s
just dead white space). In fact, on my old computer using Firefox I could
see them, but on my new computer using Firefox I can’t.

Does anyone know anything about this or have any educated guesses?

Is it the newest version of FireFox? I’ve actually had the opposite problem before, where FireFox + Mplayer-Plugin would work under Linux, but IE under windows wouldn’t (even though the videos were wmv.)

Re: Videos in Firefox

Yes, it’s the newest version - I just downloaded it yesterday…

Hm. Maybe if you check the release notes for what changed wrt video in
the new release, that will provide a clue as to how to work around the
problem
