Ok I’m wearing out my left mouse button replaying this clip. Your riding

My question is, how DO you pedal grind?

Wow, those are wicked. Did you learn the grind from standing up on a rail
next to a wall, or just keep jumping into it until you could slide it all
the way down? How hard is it to do?

Oh, what unicycle was that on, I kind of suspect my heavy pashley +
gazaloddi 26in might weigh a bit much for the big jumps up to the rail to
do this sort of thing? Have you tried dropping off a wall onto a rail to
start a grind, I can think of far more places with walls with handrails on
that would be really easy to drop onto. I guess you could hurt yourself if
you rubbed on the wall during the slidey bit though.

Really tempted to get one of those trialsy bouncy unicycles now, but I
mustn’t because I’ve got no room left in the unicycle cupboard.

Awesome awesome awesome!

I’m also curious about the pedals you’re using… have they been modified
in any way to make them slide better? I’m using big platforms with big
pins sticking out everywhere to give grip in the ever wet conditions at
the moment and imagine they’d just stick straight away. If I could find
anywhere to even try grinds on I would but nae luck so far :frowning:

Oh yeah… Leo mentioned using new magnesium primo tenderizers for grinds
just the other week - sparks ahoy!

Great vids btw!

Cheers, Neil

Hey Dan, As you know, I’ve allready seen the vids, but I’d like to say:
those grinds are friggin’ awesome! I cant wait to get my new uni so I can
practice some skills! later )—(x) Dylan Wallinger Keep Riding

AWESOME!

Those were some sick moves out there. I never thought it was possible short of pegs, but now that I think about it, it would just be really really really hard. How did you teach yourself how to do that? Do you need special pedals and/or a certain uni?

Again, great grinds. NEver seen anything like it.

What tire size was Kris using? 26 or 24?

wow man that is just friggin amazing!!! the day i can do that and glide i will be soooo happy! im not good at either of those yet but the grinding im practicing on alot so when i see the BMX riders grinding a rail i can show them up and grind it too. i will laugh when i see thier faces after that hehehe sorry im rambling again. well im goin to watch the videos some more hopefully the left mouse button doesnt wear out soon
