I tried it. Almost to the end. I recommend this game to everyone in need of entertainment. Amazing play style really has you thinking sometimes. And I shouldn’t forget to mention the hilarious comments the computer sometimes has. It’s a really great game. If you’re still not interested or don’t know how it all looks, watch this:

All of what you said is true, but what got it for me is the atmosphere, notably the sound design. The music is sooo spooky.

i think dead rising is the best game ever
never played it, i don’t really liek scary Sh¡t your pants games i like to be relaxed and calm except with halo and COD that’s when my game face is on(puts on game face that looks like john madden)
its not scary. bioshock is scary. it gave me night scares.
in dead rising you just kill zombies with whatever you can find.(guns, hammers,axes, crowbars, shopping carts, motorcycles, cars, plants, swords, dumbbells, hats, CDs, chairs, chainsaws, knives, bowling balls, zombie parts, etc.) its loads of fun!

the song at the end of portal is so freakin funny.
I’ve figured the cake part out. I’m currently walking through the rooms with purple walls. That’s the last level. You just gotta love glados’ comments:D Congratulations on solving the experiment where we pretended to kill you:D

As good as some new games are now, i don’t think they’ll ever be quite as good as the classic old games and consoles with the shitty graphics and bad music/sound effects. They were far more fun to play than most games are today. What ever happened to the old arcade games in the fish’n’chip shop like these:
These were so much fun.
Not to mention the old pinball machines without all the special effects. 3 bumpers and dial scores that only went to 999points is all you need.

have u beat half life 2? that game is waaaaaayyyyyy better than halo! and team fortress 2 is amazing also.

I can sort of see the argument for ‘classic games are better than modern games’, but I honestly think a large part of it is nostalgia. I mean, I’m young enough where I have played a lot of old games due to emulators and such, but for the most part the SNES was my real ‘first’ console. I have always been a supporter of the advancement of gaming, which probably is why I want to be a part of the industry in the not-all-that-distant future.
