I remember seeing pictures of munis using some kind of velcro strap to secure the hydraulic brake lines. Anybody out there know the brand of these or where I can get some?

Most hardware stores carrie them also some Office supply stores will have them. When your looking arround they are usually in the same place as wire ties. Alot of people use these to orginize the rat’s nest of wires behind thier computers. Sounds like the work well for Uni Breaks though too…
Try Case Logic straps. They are designed to keep PC cables tidy and are perfect for keeping your hose tight to the frame.
Another trick is to cut down a Lizard Skin chainstay protector, should cost about $10. This is a strip of coloured cloth covered neoprene with velcro on the long edge. The large chainstay protector is the perfect width to go around the seat post clamping the hose tight to the frame. It’s 3 times the length you need but a couple of quick snips and you have 3 velcro hose guides for the price of 1.
