Utah Unicycling Clubs

Hey if anyone knows of any northern Utah unicycling clubs please let me know. I have a couple unicycle buddies, but they haven’t been able to unicycle lately.

my dad lives up in west jordan. i will let you know when im up there next we should go ride. i dont know of any clubs up there you should start one.

I realize this thread is kinda old, but I thought I’d give a shout-out to anyone unicyling in Davis County or near Downtown SLC. I work downtown, so if anyone wants to hook up and ride together over lunch, let me know. I live in Davis County, so I can ride there in the evenings.

I’ll actually be in ogden utah for the summer. maybe we could ride? I’m a newbie I learned in january, but I live in a bicycle community and ride miles literally every day.

Kaysville 4th of July Parade

For anyone wanting to ride uni in a parade, here’s your chance! My daughter and I and Brian (username “Not So Young One”) rode last year and it was very fun. Parade starts at 11. The parade route is about 1.3 miles long. For anyone new to the area, Kaysville is about 20 minutes north of Salt Lake City.

If any of you would like to ride with us, please pm me so I can add you to the count of riders on the registration form, which I’ll be turning in next week. The form says “approximate number,” so even if you think you’re only a maybe, I’ll add you to the count and then if you end up not making it, no worries.

What day is the pirade? I move home (Ogden) for good this summer to attend University of Utah, so I’d like to become active in events like this. I get to Utah on the 27th.

July 4.

The July 4th parade is coming up again, less than two months to go. As of right now, we have seven riders confirmed to ride. There’s room for a lot more, so if anyone’s interested, drop me a pm and we can exchange phone numbers. Thanks

I also was just invited to ride uni in the Uintah Day Parade, June 8 at 10 am in Uintah, Utah. It’s a short 1/4 mile route, so it’s a perfect warm up parade for the longer 4th of July parade a month later in Kaysville.

If anyone wants to ride in either parade, or both, please drop me a PM and let you know additional details about where to meet and what time, as well as exchanging contact info with you.

Thanks

kazuki…

check your PMs!

DirtDart – check yours too.

Glad to see new riders in Utah. I ride Muni in the Salt Lake area and am looking to organize a group ride once things cool off a bit.

More soon…

Cheers,

UPD in Utah

12 riders in Thursday’s parade, including the legendary Seth Granberry, who was visiting from Auburn. Seth is 70 years young and rides with the energy of a 17-year-old, as you can see from this jump roping clip. Seth is a former president of the Unicycling Society of America and founder of the Auburn unicycle club (now with 200+ members.) It was awesome riding with Seth and hearing him give pointers to all the new riders.

Utah Unicycle club

Hey I live in Park City and I am starting a unicycle club at Treasure Mountain Junior High. I will try to make it so people out of school can join, but I’m not sure yet.

I’m in Orem. Would love to find people to ride with.
