usb wireless playstation 2

Would it be possible to use a wireless USB network hookup to network my
playstation2 so I can play games online?

Would something like this work? http://tinyurl.com/5j08 Even if I don’t
have the ps2 network adaptor? Since the ps2 has a usb port.

Re: usb wireless playstation 2

I would really doubt it. USB networking requires specific software that
I have ONLY seen for Windows, I doubt you could get/write any drivers
for a PS2 to make it work.

Re: usb wireless playstation 2

Yes, it will work.

People were using USB network adaptors for tony hawk 3 before they released
the network adaptor.

Re: usb wireless playstation 2

No, but that doesn’t tell me about a USB wireless network hookup. It
provides some good info, but only about using a bridge and then plugging a
wire into the PS2 Network Adaptor.

I’m trying to figure out if I can bypass buying the network adaptor

Re: usb wireless playstation 2

Hmm…were they wireless USB network adaptors or just USB to ethernet
adaptors?

I found one on gateway.com that says it works with PS2, but it’s a kit, and
not just the usb adaptor: http://tinyurl.com/5jr3

I wasn’t sure if this is the same usb adaptor?

Re: usb wireless playstation 2

Well, I bought this from buy.com, but the playstation 2 doesn’t seem to
recognize it.

Any suggestions?
