On Sunday 25th July 1999 several members of Cambridge Community Circus will be
joining the London to Cambridge Cycle Ride on unicycles - and we need some more
volunteers!! We’ll be attempting to cover at least five miles per person (i.e.
it’s a relay), probably running in pairs with a bicycle to carry supplies etc.
We’re also going to have at least one support van or car.
At each ten mile stop there will be a chance to swap people and equipment around
and we’re also going to try and get as many people as possible crossing the
finish line together on unis.
We’re raising money for Cancer Research (the main target of the event) and also
Cambridge Community Circus, so if you are interested in helping out contact us
A.S.A.P. (like now!) for sponsorship forms and details. Big wheels are
definitely an advantage (and we should have some that people can use).

Well done! I looked out for you all all day, but failed to see any one wheeled
cyclists. Saw a one pedalled cyclist and also a one geared (fixed) cyclist, but
none of the unicycles
