Unizaba...

I’m quite new to unicycling and this newsgroup so I guess that the subject
has been discussed but… anyway…

I just saw Unizaba video clip yesterday with Kris Holm and Nathan Hoover.
I think I played it at least 15 times ! This summer I also saw Kris
performing in “Dirty Dreams” (I think…) filmed at North Shore BC. That’s
what brought me to unicycle !

Here are a few questions :

  1. Is there a longer version of Unizaba ? If so, how can we get it ?
  2. What’s the music on that film (I’d certainly buy the album…) ?
  3. Are there other videos or bike films where we can see muniriders
    perform (I read Kris’ post about New World Disorder II) ?

www.xtremeride.com has a long clip of kris holm that is pretty amazing.

Hi,

Yes there’s a longer version of Unizaba. It’s a 10 minute filmshort and
will be featured in a number of different Film Festivals over the next
year, including the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the Sawtooth (Outside
Magazine) film festival tour through the U.S., and possibly also Telluride
Mountainfilm and the Vancouver International Film festival. Hopefully it
will be played in most major centers throughout North America as part of
these two tours, and (hopefully) elsewhere in the World as part of the
Banff Film Festival World Tour.

The plan is also to release it as part of a compilation videotape, along
with a couple of other filmshorts. That should hopefully happen within the
next couple of months.

I am rather picky about what music I listen to. To my surprise, I like the
album very much. I didn’t think I would, really. There is probably only
one song I don’t really care for, but all the others are pretty good.
