Has anyone else noticed on the back cover of UNiVERse I, in the top left hand corner it says:
“photos by John Foss (www.unicyling.com)”
Note the lack of ‘C’ in unicycling (unicyling)

Yeah, and I think that Dan’s e-mail address is wrong. Someone’s is, anyway.
And on the UNiVERsE II Rider Profiles part, there’s a typo on someone’s profile. I think it’s Ryan Atkins, or Dylan Wallinger. Or maybe Dan Doerkson… Anyway, it’s the little writing between the two pictures.

Seriously, what’s the big deal about someone making a typo. Do you appreciate the movie any less because of it?
Calm down dude, I don’t think they were being critical of the mistake. They were just pointing it out.

Yes. I can’t watch the movie anymore without thinking about it. I can’t talk to Dan Heaton or anyone else who had anything to do with that movie anymore. It’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to unicycling. It almost makes me want to go back to two wheels.

Leaving out the second “c” in unicycle seems to be a common form of typo. And the fact that it’s apparently easy to miss in proofing makes it a dangerous one.
Apparently all the trophies at the 1978 USA National Meet (what we now call NAUCC) had this same typo in their plaques. I was not there, but I’ve seen one of the trophies.
