Univega?

i have a univega unicycle, its in good shape except the threads for the cranks
are chewed up and i can’t seem to find out anything on this this unicycle,
anyone ever heard of the univega unicycle?

Univega had one around 1983 or so. I remember seeing some at the '83 IJA
Festival in Purchase, NY. The cool thing about it was that it had a Miyata seat,
like the Panasonics that were made a few years later. Those seats are
manufactured for Miyata by a company called Ariake.

I think the rest of the Univega was a tubular, unicrown Taiwan fork, with the
good kind of bearing attachment (ala Semcycle XL or Cycle Design). It was much
better than most of the Taiwan unicycles available today…
