Personally, I am kinda interested in seeing the movie, but I’m not going to, just because they’re making a movie about murder for personal profit. If the money from the movie went to a good cause, then I would, I guess.
What about every war movie or even worse Holocaust movies.
Yes they want a profit but the reason a filmmaker takes on such subject matter is to increase understanding and sympathy.
The question is has it been long enough, and I say yes. The Best Years of Our Lives was made in 1946.
5 years later is plenty of time to now make a film that reflects those events.
Im gonna watch it, seems interesting =p
