"Uniracers" Video Game

On rec.juggling we have a ‘tradition’ of broadcasting juggling ‘sightings’ as
they are called. Well, I see the folks at Nintendo have complied a new game
called ‘Uniracers’. In the commercial (sighting) for this game they show clips
of the game, then they have the nerve to show BMX riders doing tricks, NOT
unicyclists. I personally would rather see some top unicyclists doing some cool
tricks rather than a bunch of pimple-faced teens doing tricks I’ve seen back in
the mid-eighties. It makes some sense don’t you think to have unicyclists
promoting a game where you control a unicycle? Well, enough of my complainin’

I noticed that, too. Everyone to whom I have pointed this out has said “So?”. It
seems a rather fundamental difference to me, but they must disagree and view the
two as equal. I guess Nintendo has the same view.

Do we have any mpegs of really great unicycle tricks? Other than bungee jumping,
that is. A friend on mine on campus has an mpeg compression board if we have any
videos we would like to grab. Can anyone do any neat tricks? I may have mpegs of
me riding and freemounting in a few weeks. We’re planning to video tape one of
our practices and grab them.
