Behind the News, a tv program on the abc here in Australia, came in to our school to talk to us and to film us of our unicycling. I thought that they put it together quite well.
It was very enjoyable and hopefully more people will realise that unicycling isn’t just for the circus
What a fantastic little report! I used to love this show back when I was in primary school and I’m sure you’ve just inspired a whole new generation to learn. Kudos
we didn’t know that they were going to do that! lol. well i think they did a bit of a search on youtube, and they must of came accross some of your footage, to show the mountain type of unicycling?
I think once a video is on youtube, you can download it directly from yotube, and use it without permission, but I’m not sure on that. If not, I don’t think they’d have that option to download it, or at least they’d put a proviso in plain sight. Also, I probably wouldn’t have a case since I use other parties copyright music-as many of us do-in my videos. Besides, I’d never been to Australia before, so it was a fun trip, lol!
Seriously, there could be some situations where using someone else’s videos/likeness would be illegal, like if they were trying to profit from it, pass it off as their own intellectual property, or use it to falsely smear and/or defame someone.
hmmm u wouldnt believe this but i was flicking channels on friday afternoon and i came across BTN just about to start a repeat of this. it was lucky as hell timing and i saw the whole thing on TV. in terms of the stuff that was said, it was really good! im not such a fan of the occasional corny set-up shots tho haha
If you are using Internet Explorer try using Mozilla Firefox (vice-versa) If that fails then I will be uploading it to youtube anyway this week some time.
