Unicyclists in Scotland

Hi all,

A couple of months ago I received a unicycle as a 40th birthday present from
my wife . . . not sure just what she was trying to tell me! Anyways, I am having
excellent fun, getting around o.k., and have now learned to freemount – world,
here I come! I live in Perthshire and just wondered if there were any other
unicyclists in the area interested in meeting up?

We were just in Wales (and England) this past March. When we make it over
to SCotland (soon, we hope), I’ll have to make sure to get to Perthshire
for a ride. Of course, this means taking a unicycle on an int’l flight,
but we’ll manage – maybe by packing it in the luggage like when I flew to
Seattle this summer.

Looking forward…

David

PS: The trip to Wales (via Paris) ended up taking us via Glasgow…we were
pretty close, then.

I’m a 44 year old “unicyclist” have been unicycling for 2 years now and have a Pashley 26" I live in Edinburgh.
Mostly do a bit of "mountain " unicycling this involves cycling on the Water of Leith to and from work.
Really enjoy it.
Am hoping to do a charity 26 mile unicycle again on the water of Leith on 14th March.
Where in Perthshire are you.
Tim
Ps once i could freemount i stupidly stopped learning new things
