WOW! What are the odds!? I just met one of my new neighbors. She use to ride a unicycle. She was thrilled and excited to see me riding, and was even jealous. However, I think the jealous part was just a figure of speech.
She said she was going to give me nothing but encouragement. I asked her what happened to her unicycle. She doesnât have it anymore. She fell from herâs and suffered a head injury. She said that was back in the day when people thought the helmets were not important.
Your poor neighbour! Maybe you can get her back on a uni though. One lady in my neighbourhood got back onto hers after seeing me ride and now we are good friends
Oh, that would be cool! If she can. She never said why she doesnât unicycle. She just said it was from a head injury.
I donât know if that means the injury damaged something, and now she canât ride it; or, if the injury terrified her, and possibly created a phobia of riding.
Back when I was just starting, my neighborsâ college age son saw me trying to ride, said âhey! I ride too!â and pulled a uni from his car trunk and did a quick zoom around, ending with a pretty pirouette.
Unfortunately they moved out just a few weeks later, and I was a lone rider again.
I wouldnât be surprised if that happened here. My subdivision is like a revolving door. Iâve never seen anything like it. People move in, most stay for 3 year or less. Then they will move.
I thought it was, because they were rent houses; but, I had a couple across the street from me, and they owned the house, and moved out in less than a year. Turns out a lot of the home owners did that. Anyway, my unicyclist neighbor is living in a rent house. So, that may be the end result with her. Most of the renters out here are very temporary.
I doubt it. This has been going on ever since Iâve been here. We moved her in 2006.
Some of them said they were moving, because they needed a bigger place. That couple didnât even live there a year. They came with one child, they left with one child.
Actually, I think itâs going to be due to a multitude of different reasons, but all in one subdivision? I find it to be mind boggling.
Although, I am sure some left for job related reasons, but I just donât think they all are leaving for job related reasons.
ROFLOL Thatâs hysterical! Hey, you know what. Not long after we lived here, several houses down there were several people involved in making a movie at one of the houses. We drive by a couple of times during the filmings. One time they were filming a fight scene in the front yard.
They may have all had high paying jobs. I know 2 of them did. There are a lot of rent houses here too. People in those houses can spontaneously move. Still it is strange. I am 57 years old. I have never seen people come and go like they do here.
