Unicyclist.com unavailable quite often?

Is anyone else recieving page not availlable, or can’t connect to… errors quite often?

I don’t think I go through a whole day without the site being unavailable at least a few times

Any one else?

This happens in FIrefox and IE

edit: still logged in as sofa at home computer

I get this too mostly around 12ish to about 4ish then its not bad. Sometimes at other random times of the day too.

The down time is what makes us appreciate Unicyclist.com all the more.

Mine is from like 11-3, the forums, will maybe give me one good click(where the next page pops up) then it will just die and say page not available, and I’ll have to retry.

Me too. I really hate when it happens and I am trying to post some witty, intelligent BS that everyone is waiting to read.:smiley:

this site is living on shoe strings and it crashs like 500 times a day. i hear that the archives may be making it sluggish but if we had a sight run by somone with more time to update or listen to the people who post here,i think this place would be awesome but Sir Gilbus just ignores all the suggestions or never see’s them cause of his many other duty’s…who knows…?

what a valuable resource this place is but so unloved by its owner.

It seems as though I am unable to load this site or it takes forever to load about 50% of the time. Its very irritating.

It seems to fail to load quite often. Also, when it does load it is much slower. And I haven’t seen the gallery in weeks…

Me to, but from AS3265, AS21155 and AS24730 I can’t detect any packageloss.

So I guess too much proceses for the server OR possibly :80 is limited by the hosting provider (since the servers are on a “unbelieveable” cheap deal).

I would like to offer Gilby a cheap deal to, but only if his setup makes sense.

I’ve never had problems loading the website.
However, I’ve had insane difficulties trying to access the unicyclist.com e-mail address (says I don’t exist) as well as using WS FTP to try and use the webspace I thought was available to members. (It always fails) As well as the galleries.

IF anyone has any suggestions to what I may be doing wrong (I’ve been a member for a few weeks now but can’t do anything other than post in forums) please message me?

I’d really appericate it!
(I use WinXP and have tried both Firefox and IE)
