Someone who makes iPhone applications should make us a unicyclist.com forum application. That would be so cool!
A google search on VBulletin iphone gives several possibilities in various vBulletin CSS styles.
There are two possibilities mentioned in the vBulletin support forum
iPhone / iPod Touch Optimized Skin
Mobile, Cell, Phone, PDA, iPhone Style
Perhaps Gilby can add a special style (CSS) for the iPhone.
And while you’re at it make a BlackBerry application too.

The forums work fine on my ipod, pretty much the same as on a computer.
Of course what is really needed is a sliderule application.
You’re in luck, as there already is one: Slide Rule on the App Store
