My lack of culture is gigantic. It reminded me of a powerful speech of the Doctor (from the famous Doctor Who series). It is in fact a speech given by JFK regarding the Moon mission.

Records are there to be:

  • Questioned - Why?! Why would they do that?
  • Admired - Wow. They are really skilled.
  • Inspire - You see children. This is why you need to stay in school.

Hopefully your effort gets officially recognized and qualifies to do all the reasons listed above.

Yes, but maybe not on an athletic track, and I have some stuff to fix before (mostly my aerobars setup, they were probably too close, causing a lot of pain after half the attempt).

I used my road setup (the frame I had in Bemidji, with a G29/117). It was not perfect for this particular event (narrow aerobars, slightly too straight and a 29 inches wheel), but I donā€™t have the money to make the perfect uni for that. However, if @jaco_flans, light bicycles and Florian Schlumpf wanted some advertising (that they probably donā€™t need, everybody knows how good their stuff is) by making me a custom Ti frame and a fast carbon 36 wheel, I would be happy to helpā€¦

Its the Dutchies that go for the 24 hour records. It will take a while before I go for the 24 hour UW record :smiley:
