Unicycling, stuffed up my walking how about u ?

since i learnt how to unicycle, i subconciously cannot walk in a straight line, i eer so slightly veer off to one side, but different sides all the time. i dont notice it, b ut when i walk with friends, i always walk them off the path, etc. has this, or something similar happened to anyone else out there, in the land of beyond?

ive notived that but i think ive always done it though but i dont know!

After a long time of riding, like 3 hours without getting off, when i do gett off, i wobble a bit, but that only lastes a few seconds and i can walk fine, and i dont veer to one side, but one of my friends does it all the time, and he doesnt stop, so i always have to stop and get to the other side, then he veers to that side, so im constantly switching sides with him lol

doesn’t happen to me…maybe you’re all just crazy.

It’s not unicycles that does that…

… cuz, my father does that all the time also.
(he rides no unicycle)

If I were to guess, I’d say it’a an inner ear problem.

I will ocationnally be walking then i just jump to the other side of the sidewalk just to keep balanced. weird

You’re all crazy…cept for me and Michael…we seem to be sane
It is Michael, right Potter

yeah, its either Michael or Bill.

whered that come from?

wow, i noticed that just last week. i don’t feel dizzy, i just seem to weave naturally (i drive that way too, but i keep my butt in my own lane at all times)

quite the contrary: all my life I’ve had a very peculiar way of walking (with the outside of my feet and with a characteristic “bear walk” position and cadence). Since I suffered much from Achille’s tendon while practicing unicycling the doctors tried to change my way of walking … an now I walk (almost) straightly!

i haven’t found a change in walking, but i no longer come to a stop when i reach the intersection. i rock back and forth until it’s time to go again, right foot forward, sometimes i lift a leg up and press my foot into the other shin and do it one-footed

As a rule of thumb, I should say unicycling improves balance.

Mike

If it’s an inner ear problem then you’re drinking your bourbon all wrong.

When I walk I have a tendancy to hop up on anything skinny and walk on it instead of the ground. I don’t think about it until someone says something.

The other day I was bored and waiting for someone at a party, so I started walking along a bike rack
If unicycling does nothing else, it makes the weird, crazy and eccentric seem normal

That’s funny, I only have that when I’ve drank lots of beer

“You only have that…”
what’s that supposed to mean?
Have done maybe?

I think what it means is he lives in the Netherlands and it is entirely possible that English is not his native language.
